SAP Production Planning & Production Engineering and Operations (PEO) Consultant

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analyzing the existing SAP Production Planning (PP) related Business Processes and Configurations in SAP ECC.
  • Support BPR workshops to architect how the PP Business Processes should be re-engineered to be implemented in a consolidated SAP S/4 environment using PP and PEO.
  • Research the best practices recommended for implementing the processes in SAP S/4.
  • Configuring the end-to-end SAP PP & PEO related capabilities in SAP S/4 IMG based on agreed upon requirements
  • Demonstrate the configuration in SAP S/4 IMG to the BRP team members with recommendations on how the processes should work in the future to-be environment.
  • Document the configuration activities.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one are required
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in related field 
  • Experience: 10 years of related work experience
  • Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP ECC6.0 implementations serving as configurator for PP module. 
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on SAP PP configuration experience with an advanced understanding of the roles and tasks involved.
  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on SAP PEO configuration experience with an advanced understand of the roles and tasks involved.
  • Experience working with Segmentation and its impacts on configuration of different modules.
  • Experience with configuring SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO)
  • Hands-on experience in configuring business processes in SAP ECC and SAP S/4 IMG
  • Expertise in analyzing, configuring, testing, and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies 
  • Experience in planning and leading requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders and functional POC’s preferably in the Federal government sector
  • Experience with complex problem-solving strategies. Able to determine the source of a problem and find effective solution(s) through an in-depth evaluation of varying factors. Strong capacity for abstract reasoning and creative visioning 
  • Demonstrated experience in contributing to cross-functional teams, experience with working complex projects remotely 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive client leadership 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions
  • Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision
  • Driven, self-directed personality
  • Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference

 

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of SAP Best Practices (BPPs) 
  • Experience with configuring SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
